Place of Work: Head Office Runcorn, Driving based primarily around the North West
Hours of Work: 42.5 hours per week. May also include over time.
This company is looking to recruit a Field Sales Engineer.
Job Role
The role is primarily field based but you will be required to work onsite at their Runcorn Head Office dependant on business needs
Expectations
To service & maintain existing machinery and generate new business leads.
Target & Commission based
Specifications
- Must hold full clean UK Driving Licence
- Time Served Field Service Mechanical Engineer
- Experience working in a client facing role
- Single or 3 phase Electrical qualifications or experience essential
- Counterbalance Fork Lift Licence ( Preffered but not essential )
Duties and Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the Engineer are as follows: Maintenance and service of Waste Compaction & Material Handling Equipment throughout the midlands. Reactive and Preventative Maintenance, Liaise with customers to develop solutions to requirements.
To fulfil these requirements you must have the following skills / experience:
- Have a good in depth, knowledge and experience of material & waste
- Compaction/handling equipment maintenance and installation.
- Diagnosing faults and problem solving to repair
- Preparation of service reports
- Working on hydraulics and electrical circuits
- Good working knowledge and experience all aspects of the equipment. Be available to work throughout the country
- Strong problem-solving ability
- Excellent communication skills
- Proactive attitude
- Full clean UK driving licence
- Be Enthusiastic / Self Motivated / Honest
The successful service engineer will have the opportunity to start with a company that has a great knowledge of the industry and will change the way the industry is serviced.
This job involves overtime, callout rota and travel.
Compactor Maintenance: 2 years
Baler maintenance: 2 years
Hydraulic Knowledge: 2 years
Engineering: 3 years
