Estates Officer

Role: Estates Officer

Duration: 7-8 Months with possible extension

Location: Leeds

Rate GBP200-GBP300 per day (Inside of IR35)

• A background in utilities/acting on behalf of a public body with statutory powers would be beneficial as will the management of a predominantly rural estate. Strong communication/influencing skills and the ability to negotiate. The work will be based in the Leeds/Yorkshire area and some travel is involved. 1 to 2 days per week potentially between sites
• The successful applicant will be involved with some large construction projects where they will be given the opportunity to use their influencing and negotiation skills. They will be involved in wide range of work, including our national flood risk programme, looking after various operational projects, managing a diverse land portfolio and be involved in the acquisition and compensation programme for major capital works.
• Estates Surveyor qualified as a Chartered Surveyor (either MRICS or AssocRICS) with some post qualification experience and preferably with rural background.
