Brook Street are currently recruiting for a Higher Executive officer to work within the MOD at Cosford.
You will be providing Middle Management Support and be able to operate with minimal supervision. You will confidently use your judgement and work independently when completing your tasks and assignments.
Part of your role will include:
Preparing high-level correspondence and checking that produced by others
Interpreting and reporting complex data
Resolving problems or responding to complex enquiries
Managing the workload of a team or section (6 CS staff)
Support Core training programmes
Administration of 5000 Cadets & 1400 Volunteer staff covering Wales and the West of England.
Liaising with internal and external stakeholders at senior level
Building and maintaining relationships
Coordinate and contribute to key meetings as required,
We are ideally looking for an individual that shows the following key attributes:
Knowledge of Military procedures and Judgements
Excellent team building skills
The ability to take the lead
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of MONDET/DII, HRMS and BADER
Typical qualifications and Skills:
Five GCSE passes at Grade C or above
Two A level passes at grade E or above or equivalent
NVQ Management Level 3 or 4 (or suitable management experience)
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
Management skills in an office environment
This is a full time, temporary role that is due to end in May 2019. Working 37hrs per week. There may be a requirement to work some weekends, however this is compensated. Standard rate of Pay is GBP9.13ph and this will rise to GBP15.82ph after 12 weeks.
You must be willing to travel and a Full Clean driving licence is required.
