B3Living is the largest independent housing association in the Borough of Broxbourne, providing over 4,600 homes across Hertfordshire and Essex.  Our mission is to build a range of homes for social rent, private rent and shared ownership to counteract the local housing crisis and shortage of homes in our area.
 
We are currently recruiting for a Caretaker to work within a team responsible for a designated area, providing caretaking and cleaning services to a high standard.
You will carry out cleaning duties within communal areas of our blocks including but not limited to; sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, mopping,  cleaning windows and walls, removing graffiti and external areas of our estates such as bulk waste removal, sweeping hard standings and garage areas, litter picking, cleansing of bin stores and managing refuse.
As a Caretaker, you will be the first point of contact for residents on our estates, providing a professional and responsive service and using initiative to respond to requests and complaints.
The successful candidate will have excellent customer care skills, ability to use own initiative and think creatively and able to work as part of a team. Ideally, you will have awareness of health and safety issues and have previous experience of caretaking/cleaning duties but not essential.
