Design Draughtsperson
Location: Blackburn
Salary: GBP25,000 + Benefits
Industry: Engineering/Manufacturing
The RZ Group is currently working closely with a specialised engineering company based in the Blackburn area, they are looking to recruit a Design Draughtsperson to join their expanding team. The purpose of this role will be to provide Design Engineering and Drawing support to the Technical and Design department.
Key duties will include:
- Creating and continually improving the standard accuracy and consistency of the CAD models and technical drawings for all production areas.
- Calculating tolerances, stacks, limits and fits with documented support calculations.
- Designing and developing minor projects of individual ideas
- Giving support and assistance to areas of the business that create and modify product data sheets, user manuals and all other technical documentation
Candidates should have the following skills, experience and qualifications
- Time served or degree educated engineer
- 3-4 years experience within a design engineering environment
- Experience using AutoCAD, any experience with other various design packages would be beneficial
