Senior Network Administrator (Infrastructure, Networks) HULL69484

Our client is one of the largest further and higher education colleges in the country, offering over 1000 courses to over 26,000 learners every year.

They are looking for a Senior Network Administrator to join the team where you will assist with the management, support and maintenance of the Group ICT network infrastructure, ensuring its security and availability at all times.

Within the role you will ensure that the capability and functionality of hardware, software and network components meet the current and predicted needs in a cost-effective manner. Assisting in the design and planning of enhancements and upgrades, you will manage the Group server and network environments.

Our client is looking for someone who is technically qualified in network infrastructure support, or who has recent relevant experience of network comms infrastructure support. With Virtual Server / desktop experience, you will be able to demonstrate ability to support Server operating systems, SAN and networking technologies, and will have substantial relevant experience.

A good knowledge of Network infrastructure systems and devices such as Firewalls, servers, SAN and web proxies, you will be knowledgeable of LAN / WAN and IP technologies. Excellent communication skills are essential, as is being able to work as part of a corporate team.
