An exciting opportunity for a Junior Level Account Manager has arisen within an established team based in Stevenage Herts
The role would suit an individual with some experience of working within an Account Management environment but who may wish to take a step up to a more sales development role, as this role will be supporting a Business Development Manager.
The role will involves
- Developing existing accounts by following up on Business Development confirmed by the Field Based team
- Contacting potential customers and making appointments from enquiries for the Field Based team
- Work with other Account Managers on cross over leads
- Assist the Field Sales team with presentations
- Travel to customer sites to add value to the presentation and after a period of time/training host the presentation yourself
- Maximise on all sales leads presented (Warm leads only, no cold calling involved)
Required for the role
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Flair for Business Development
- Accustomed to working towards and achieving targets
- Demonstrable 'Soft sell' approach
- Flexibility for some early starts/late finishes when visiting customer sites
- Desire to build a career within a sales related environment
- Ideally educated to Degree level but not essential
- Full UK Driving Licence
