Nightshift HGV (LGV) Technician

Monday - Friday 21:30 - 06:00

Starting from cGBP17.04 per hour

(Minimum Salary cGBP35,500.00 per annum)

We are searching for a Qualified HGV Technician for our client at their Widnes based Depot

You must only apply if you have relevant Motor Vehicle Mechanical Qualifications up to Level 3 such as City & Guilds or NVQ and ideally hold a CLASS 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (C) License.

We will consider ex-forces if you have Mechanical Qualifications and have been hands-on in HGV Vehicle Mechanics in the field

Our client is a franchised Scania dealership which has 5 depots throughout the North West.

The role of HGV Technician will involve being responsible for carrying out inspection and service routines and repairs and testing of vehicles in a professional and safe manner. As HGV Technician you will report to the shift supervisor and will be able to investigate and diagnose faults, report findings and be able to carry out all repairs to the current manufacturer's standards.

You will be responsible for planning work, managing diagnostics and ordering parts effectively whilst being able to carry out all repairs to the highest standards and with the most effective use of time; you will also be required to have a stable technical/main dealer background and must have knowledge of modern diagnostic systems.

Our client very much prides itself on standards both of service and all its vehicles and so we are looking for a team player to fill this role who will be flexible and able to work to tight deadlines. You must be able to adopt a hands-on approach to all aspects of the role to ensure continued high levels of work are carried out right, first time.

Hours of Work:

21:30 - 06:00 Monday to Friday with 30 mins unpaid break
