Electronics Test Technician
ROLE- ElectronicsTest Technician
LOCATION - Northampton
TERM - Full Time/Permanent
SALARY- GBP25,000 to GBP30,0000 per annum
I am currently seeking a talented Electronics Test Technician for a very well-established controls systems company in Northampton. Due to continued growth, they are looking to take on someone on can test all the company's products to the required specification and have a basic understanding of the manufacturing process.
The Electronics Test Technicians responsibilities will be:
To ensure the successful test of company's products and modules with a basic understanding of the products under test down to a circuit board level.
Accept responsibility of product through test and inspection up to delivery to the despatch shelf.
To work on products or modules where all the documentation has been released.
Demonstrate a basic understanding of products under test and communicate any day to day issues to their line manager/supervisor.
To assist other team members to successfully meet project deliverables.
Manufacture products to the ISO9001 standard as stated in the Quality Management System.
The Electronics Test Technicians Skills needed:
PCB assembly, test and production
Hand soldering - SMT, T/H
Have an excellent work ethic and be self-motivated
Work accurately with attention to detail
Ability to produce equipment documentation
Good communication skills, ability to get on with all levels, ability to work as part of team
