Head of IT - London
An amazing opportunity to set up an organisation's IT systems and processes in line with the companies goals and business objectives.

Location:- Central London
Salary:- £90,000 basic - £100,000 basic + Bonus + Package

Role Description
This organisation is in its infancy recently acquiring government & private funding to go live and move ahead operating within the Rail / Transportation sector. The business plan for 2018 is to grow to 100 people in the organisation with their growth target of 200 people by 2020.

As the Head of IT in the first instance you will be sitting down with the MD and understanding the business plan and objectives they are setting out. Then taking their initial IT plan and making it your own, using your expertise and experience to ensure the right equipment, systems and processes are implemented.

Day one it will be developing and implementing a unified system for both Hardware and Software. This will involve looking at what they use, how they procure it and the costs involved with delivering the service they require. With the standard IT services such as Office 365, Cloud based storage, Laptop security and Web site interface to name a few tasks to be considered and implemented.

Once the IT programme has been implemented over the next 24 months this role will look at project based IT systems, from Wifi on site, Cloud based optimisation while supporting the project teams and third party interfacing.

Required Experience

  • You need to be in a Lead IT position within the UK
  • Have the ability to set up an organisations IT systems from the very basic procurement through to software and integration with the company Laptops
  • At first you will need to be hands on in setting up and running the projects for the first 6 - 12 months while the business objectives are hit including your support as required.
