Due to continued expansion a highly driven, dynamic sales professional who can drive the business forward is required for an Automotive Supplier. The role will involve maximising the sales from the existing customer base as well as prospecting for new business across a wide spectrum of market sectors.
Ideally the successful candidate will have experience within the industrial fluid pumping and associated lubrication equipment products across a wide range of industries and also exposure to this type of equipment in the automotive sector.
The successful candidate will have a proven record of achievement in sales growth and be able to deliver on the business objectives. The position will be home based and the right candidate will be given the autonomy and the scope to succeed.
Ideal skills & experience summary.
* Experience and market knowledge with current contacts within established industrial distribution channels.
* Experience and market knowledge with current contacts within established automotive distribution channels.
* Selling through distributors and direct.
* Sales planning and time management.
* A demonstrable track record of success in sales and new business development in the relevant market sectors selling premium branded products.
* Self-motivated and driven personality with a strong work ethic and high levels of tenacity, committed to delivering outstanding levels of customer service.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
* Experienced in extensive UK travel nationally with nights away.
