SNR HR Advisor/ Permanent / PT- 3 days / Salary - pro rata - GBP19,227 - GBP20,998 / Based in Leicester

Ashley Kate are delighted to be supporting an exceptional organisation who are looking for a SNR HR Advisor on a permanent, part time basis in Leicester.
You will provide advice and guidance to managers with particular responsibility to designated areas. You will advise and support on a wide range of employee relations issues, undertaking casework, which may be complex.
Key Responsibilities:
??Provide advice and guidance on HR policies and procedures together with good HR practice, supporting managers on the effective operation of formal processes including investigations and hearings.
??Provide advice, guidance and support relating to recruitment and selection; participate in the recruitment process; develop and deliver assessment centres.
??Undertake job evaluation and work with others in HR to ensure a consistent approach across the business; provide advice, guidance and support to managers on issues relating to job grading, pay policies and pay structures.
??Provide close guidance and support to managers on changes to organisational structures, processes, practices etc, including developing proposals, consulting with staff and unions and implementing changes.
??Contribute to the development of HR policies, procedures and processes, ensuring that statutory and legal obligations are maintained, taking particular responsibility for identified areas of policy and practice.
??Provide coaching to managers on handling complex and difficult HR issues and problems; participate in the development and delivery of training sessions in HR related subjects.
??Manage and support Assistant Human Resources Advisors and other direct reports, including identifying training needs, providing coaching and development, agreeing objectives/ priorities and monitoring performance / progress.
??Liaise and consult with union and employee representatives on employment issues and particularly proposals for change, e.g. restructuring.
??Undertake projects and project work as required by the Director of HR including managing aspects of significant projects; research and investigate particular issues, e.g. the employment law implications of a particular proposal for change.
