Mayfield Court is a purpose built specialist, Residential Care Home in Knotty Ash, Liverpool. We are registered with the CQC to provide accommodation with care for 35 residents with complex physical disabilities aged from 18 yrs+.

We are looking for Care Assistants who have experience in the Care sector, minimum qualification NVQ2, preferably NVQ3, who can provide Care & Support to a group of residential who are predomintly wheelchair dependant and who have varied associated health issues ie. Learning disability / Autism / Acquired brain injury or similar Neurological disorders.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals to work in a specialist residential setting that has been rated ‘Outstanding’ by the CQC.

Responsibilities - 

• To provide Care & Support for individual residents as prescribed in their plan of care
• To be a Key worker to nominated residents
• To be responsible for recording all Care & Support within Care plans & communicating to Senior staff any health concerns

Part of our recruitment process at Mayfield Court is that all candidates selected for interview will meet with the residents own recruitment & selection panel which is a unique experience as well as being interviewed by the Head of Care.

The decision to then offer a position to successful candidates is chosen following consultation with the residents panel as ‘they don’t live in our workplace. We work in their home.’
