The It Advisory consulting group sits within Sopra Steria's Consultancy business and forms part of a broader Consultancy Services practice.

Sopra Steria are seeking an IT Advisory Consultant who can work directly with clients, to help them understand and address digital challenges, identify, embrace and implement appropriate digital technologies and develop creative solutions that support their business. This will involve interacting with C-Level client stakeholders and client staff, managing multiple assignments, and leading teams of Sopra Steria personnel. The Consultant opportunity involves scoping, planning and managing the delivery of fieldwork, managing small to medium-sized teams, and developing high-quality client deliverables.

As we have clients in various UK locations, you must be flexible on travel.

Essential Experience:

• Proven end to end solution architecture and application design experience
• Experience and knowledge of eCommerce, CRM, Marketing and ERP platforms and technologies, preferably in a retail context
• Strong knowledge of business processes and Digital/IT systems, IT architecture methods and tools and cloud architecture and principles
• Good awareness of Data Management, Integration and Security principles and solutions
• Proven track record of managing and leading teams (including managers & leaders) in a business focused IT environment
• Commercial awareness, with a strong customer focus and customer awareness
• Result driven, able to manage with vision and purpose
• As a people manager able to motivate direct reports and others
• Excellent prioritising and problem solving skills
• Academic degree in Computer science, Business, Finance or related field, with 10 - 15 years of broad relevant experience
