Data Analyst- Hemel Hempstead- Contract to Permanent

Our client, an dynamic and innovative entity, are seeking a talented and ambitious analyst to join them on an initial 6 month contract, with excellent potential of going permanent. This is a new role for the business, and as such has excellent scope to grow and be shaped by the successful candidate.
Offering a fast-paced and professional environment, you will be playing an integral role in drawing insight and improving processes within a highly commercial organisation. Working within a very impressive finance department this role will give you excellent exposure to a variety of systems and hone your stakeholder management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting financial reporting including quarterly reporting of actuals and long-term forecasting
- Counter party risk assessment
- Maintaining an internal database of competitor's financial performance
- Monitoring performance indicators; revenues, gross income, and operating income
- Assisting the operating units, tracking finance of client
- Acting as the main point of contact for business development within finance
- Producing monthly economic briefings and quarterly reports for senior stakeholders
The successful candidate will be a driven and professional analyst who is proficient in the use of excel. You will be keen to utilise these skills to improve reporting across a business.
You will be a natural problem solver, keen to create innovative solutions and with examples of how you have improved processes/reporting methods. With excellent interpersonal skills, experience of liaising across many departments and levels of an organisation would be advantageous.
