My client in Leicestershire, is looking for a talented Housing Options Advisor for an initial 2 month contract with potential for extension for the right candidate. On the frontline, you will interview and assess clients who are Homeless / at risk of Homelessness under the Homeless Reduction Act (HRA) guidelines.
About the role:
* Using your previous experience within a Housing Options / Homelessness role you will interview, investigate and diagnose clients housing issues
* You will work alongside the Housing Options Manager and wider team to effectively manage pre-booked client appointments and walk-in appointments
* You will use you in-depth knowledge of the Homeless Reduction Act (HRA) to create effective Personal Housing Plans with clients
* You will build, establish and maintain relationships with third-party organisations to make accurate referrals were appropriate.
About you:
* Previous experience within a Housing Options / Homelessness role is essential
* Detailed knowledge of the 5 criteria of Homelessness is essential
* A thorough working knowledge of the Homeless Reduction Act (HRA) is essential
* Previous experience within a client-facing role
* An enhanced DBS is essential
* Availability to interview this week
