The Role

The purpose of this role is to undertake a proactive approach to sourcing the best candidates and cutting down costs in the areas of resourcing, through man-management of the in-house Resourcing Team.

  • Develop and manage full lifecycle recruitment services through in-house Recruitment Team.
  • Develop strong relationships across the business with managers/senior managers and directors.
  • Leading a team of 10 recruiters to deliver on key business objectives.
  • Reviewing, updating and implementing new recruitment processes and procedures.
  • Working closely with key stakeholders to determine current and future resourcing requirements and workforce plans.
  • Identifying, organising and initiating recruitment advertising activity through relevant media channels to generate prospective employees.
  • Assisting in the interviewing and selection process.
  • Analysing and measuring recruitment outcomes and success through MI and reporting.
  • Evaluation and re-tendering of recruitment PSL
  • Develop effective recruitment policy and procedures and ensure a professional structured recruitment process that will fulfil business requirements.
  • Co-ordinate departmental/regional resourcing plans and proactively work with managers across the business to develop strategies and actions to help them meet their recruitment targets. Identify and lead group initiatives that help build an Employer of Choice brand e.g. advertising templates, campaigns, recruitment literature.
  • Managing multiple projects to support the recruitment strategy

The Person

  • Experience and in-depth knowledge of the complete end-to-end recruitment, re-structure and redeployment processes, including legal requirements, policy and best practice principles.
  • Experience of working with recruitment systems to deliver both internal and external experienced and direct hires across a range of business functions.
  • Experience of implementing a range of attraction and selection methodologies, especially innovative sourcing solutions and competency-based interviewing techniques, across a diverse range of roles.
  • Experience operating in high volume, multi-disciplined environments
  • Self-starter with strong organisational and analytical skills
  • Excellent influencing and negotiation skills
  • Direct sourcing experience, working internally within complex and fast operating organisations.
  • Excellent communicator and demonstrate the capability to 'Partner' business heads in providing innovative and creative solutions to ensure the very best talent is attracted to the organisation
  • Think strategically and translate strategies into effective delivery models and plans.
  • Experience managing high performing resourcing teams.
