Attendance Welfare Officer

Actual Salary Range: £16,558 - £17,945

37 hours per week: Term Time Only + 5 Training Day

Newland School for Girls is seeking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic Attendance Welfare Officer.

You will have:

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
  • The ability to work on your own initiative
  • The ability to produce accurate reports and understand data. 

We are an 11-16 girls comprehensive school with approximately 650 students on roll. We are a popular first choice of school for families in Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire. We are a successful school academically; our outcomes have risen rapidly in the last three years and we are now in the top five schools academically in the city of Hull.

We are one of two secondary schools in a developing Multi Academy Trust (The Yorkshire and Humber Co-operative Learning Trust) that currently consists of an additional six Hull primary schools.  We are proud to be working in partnership with the Lead Secondary School in the Trust; Kelvin Hall School – an Ofsted Grade 1 outstanding school in all areas.
