Due to an investment programme in business applications and new technologies we are looking for an additional ICT Trainer to work to work with our Senior ICT Trainer in improving employees IT knowledge and skills, enabling them to make more efficient and effective use of the firm’s IT. You will be based in our Truro office and be expected to travel to other offices when required, working 9am – 5.15pm Monday to Friday.

The Role:

Supporting the Senior ICT Trainer, you will be responsible for scheduling and delivering effective and engaging training on current and future software and systems used by the Firm. This will include classroom based courses, new starter induction training, and supporting immediate needs identified through regular floor-walking. You will assist in creating and maintaining written training instructions and online learning materials (e-learning, videos, intranet pages, articles). Timely and accurate administration is important – you will maintain training records and assist in the creation of reports.

Are you the right person?

The ideal candidate will have experience as an ICT/IT Trainer within a legal or professional services environment or have had an ICT training background with good skills in MS Office. Training will be provided on all applications with which you are not familiar.

You will need to be a confident communicator as, over time, you will be required to train and present to employees at all levels within Stephens Scown. You will be professional, articulate and self-motivated. Working in a fast-paced environment you will have excellent organisational and administration skills with the ability to deal with high workloads and changing priorities. Being a team-player is a must as is having a positive, can-do attitude. You will continually demonstrate the behaviours in keeping with the Firm’s core values.
