Tutor (Trainer, Teacher)

Our Client is a leading employment support and training services company, helping people to transform their lives and businesses through work, training, education and financial advice. They help people move into work by enabling them to gain the skills they need to make them employable, providing them with real work experience or helping them onto a traineeship or apprenticeship.

They are looking for an enthusiastic Tutor to join them where you will deliver innovative, engaging and motivational learning sessions to their learners. This is a permanent, full time position based in Elephant & Castle.

Within the role you will deliver a range of core courses to support learners develop Employability and Personal Social Development skills, moving them nearer to the local labour market. Developing their skills, knowledge and behaviours, you will support them with their longer term goals and career aspirations.

As the successful candidate, you will have one or more competencies in the following areas: Retail, Customer Service, Contact Centre, Business Administration, IT, Construction, Health and Social Care.

They are looking for someone who has a Level 4 Teaching qualification, coupled with Functional Skills Level 2 and experience within your teaching subject. With the ability to display a wide range of teaching methods to engage learners form all ages, abilities and backgrounds, including learners with significant barriers to employment and training, you will be a good team player who has a flexible and innovative approach to work.

Due to the nature of the role, a DBS check is required, as is having the ability to travel as some outreach working maybe required.
