About the role

The Digital Communications Consultant will play an important role in the Digital Team by working on various contracts across the company. Working with internal and external clients, you will manage social media and digital communication campaigns for a range of clients. You will deliver social media strategies, providing expert advice on using digital media including social media platforms, content for web and other innovative ideas. You will manage the delivery of online activities for clients including providing specialist advice and technical support. You will have the opportunity to contribute to analysing data, monitoring and evaluation reporting, and support the senior team with business development activities.

The ideal person

  • You will be experienced with communication campaigns and have a background in the use of digital and social media tools and paid advertising (Google Ads, Social Media).
  • You should be able to demonstrate experience in supporting the creation, management, delivery and monitoring of social media communications that reach and engage online audiences.
  • Organising, writing and editing information for the web using a CMS-based publishing environment.
  • A strong ability to lead on key contracts, work on own initiative and as part of a team with excellent co-ordination and organisational skills.
  • A degree in a relevant subject and demonstrable professional experience.
  • Some experience of project management and a willingness to develop Prince 2 and Agile principles within the team.
  • Willingness to travel through the UK and abroad and work outside normal office hours, including nights away from home.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of and a genuine interest in UK and EU policies and issues

Foundational knowledge of Google tools (Analytics, AdWords, Tag Manager, etc.). Google Analytics and AdWords certified a plus.
