Compliance & Assurance Surveyor (Operations)

Reporting to the Operations Safety & Compliance Manager, the Compliance & Assurance Surveyor (Operations) is responsible for ensuring that the Jet2.com Compliance & Assurance system remains compliant with European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Operational approvals. This position performs assurance based activities that contribute towards safety, performance and continuous improvements within Jet2.com Operational Teams.

You will carry out audits, inspections and reviews of Team processes as well as assist with the development of Team Procedures. The Compliance & Assurance Surveyor (Operations) will produce reports and issue recommendations, quality notices and quality deficiency reports and assist with compliance and assurance enquiries from other Teams. In addition, you will contribute to the maintenance of the Compliance & Assurance Manual and associated procedures.

The successful candidate will ideally have a thorough understanding of EASA regulations and recent airline experience. You will ideally have recent experience in Quality Systems or Compliance Monitoring, and have a good understanding of Safety Management Systems. You will be organised, flexible and have outstanding attention to detail, as well as having excellent verbal and written communication skills. There will be a requirement to travel across the Jet2.com bases in the UK and overseas, often at short notice.
