Based at West Johnstone Campus, Beith Road, Johnstone.

You will support the Service Delivery Officer to manage the delivery of administrative and clerical support to school establishments within the undernoted clusters:

Primary Cluster E includes the following schools: Auchenlodment PS, Cochrane Castle PS,
Fordbank PS, St Anthony's PS, St David's PS, St Margaret's PS, Thorn PS and Wallace PS.

This role requires the post-holders to be pro-active, flexible and adaptable to manage service delivery across multiple locations. The post-holder will have a base within one of the Primary Schools however will be mobile across all establishments within their cluster, visiting them regularly to manage and support school office staff with task completion and development.

It is essential that you have experience of: delivering services in a regulatory and legislation-driven environment; successful budgetary management and control; developing and leading teams; and effective problem solving and issue resolution skills. An SVQ Level 3 in Business Administration (or equivalent) is also essential.

It is desirable that the successful candidates have experience of developing complex processes and procedures, experience of using the Council finance & purchasing systems, experience of managing structural change across multiple locations, knowledge of Renfrewshire Council's corporate policies and practices and a track record of effective and consistent absence management.

You will be supported by an experienced management team, by knowledgeable peers in neighbouring clusters and by the dedicated staff working within the cluster. Training on specific systems eg PECOS, Seemis, E5 will be provided as required.
