Job Purpose:

To support the quality team within a manufacturing company by accurately recording and reporting quality data. Compile weekly and monthly reports detailing the business performance against the quality target.

Key Tasks and Accountabilities:

1. Maintain all key metric data and charts regarding the quality performance, providing detailed weekly and monthly reports.

2. Custodian of the deviation and change control processes. Ensure timely responses are provided and communicated back to interested parties.

3. Management of the QA helpdesk including analysis and performance reporting. Support the customer centric team by providing with the closure of CCR's

4. Facilitate management of non-conforming product by regularly reviewing grade 01 stock and containing product to its correct location. Raise rework orders as and when required. Participate in quarterly stock take of non-conforming product. Communicate non-conforming products to both internal and external stakeholders; administrate the non-conformance tracker to ensure non-conformances are closed in a timely manner.

5. Act a point of contact with suppliers for all non-conforming products. Raise supplier rejection reports and send supporting evidence. Ensure timely responses are acquired from suppliers and communicated to the wider business.

6. Support the improvement of the businesses quality performance and reduce the cost of poor quality, with active involvement in the reduction of quality issues.

7. Manage release of certified products on the QAA system, working with suppliers to ensure timely receipt of certificates.

8. Maintain all monitoring and measuring equipment to ensure their individual calibration requirements are fulfilled. Keep the calibration register up-to-date and retain all calibration certificates in a logical order.

9. Facilitate all department managers and team leaders to ensure the correct use of Sypol CMS. Assist in the improvement of general awareness and knowledge of the businesses people to ensure the correct use of Sypol CMS. Provide practical hands on help to department managers and Team Leaders when required. Maintain the general structure of our subscription including managing the work areas, monitoring our assessment use, and fielding any communication to the relevant stakeholders.

10. Monitoring & Measuring: Maintain the meter readings and Ecomonitor spreadsheets ensuring that up-to-date information is available. Maintain records relating to gas, electricity and water bills in a logical order.

11. Carry out general administrative tasks required and such other duties as may from time to time be reasonably expected.

Knowledge and aptitudes required:

- Educated to GCSE level Maths, English and ICT
