Dual Fuel Engineer

A nationwide smart energy engineering sub-contractor are looking for experienced dual fuel engineers to join their fitting force, the company has gone through a massive period of growth over the past 12 month, and look set to continue growing in 2018. They also make health and safety and number one priority, ensuring that their fitters have the tools and knowledge to carry out work safely.

The Role:

• Installing dual fuel smart meters in domestic properties
• Working a 40 Hour week, 8am until 5pm - and Saturday 9am - 5pm on a rota basis
• Carrying out all relevant post-installation tests
• Following work place health and safety codes of practice, and taking part in further training to ensure knowledge is up to day
• Maintaining a company van (Nissan NV200 or equivalent)
• Providing excellent customer service, and ensuring customers know how their new smart meter works

We are interested in talking to; dual fuel engineers, smart energy experts, meter fitters/operatives, meter engineers and anyone else with a checkable history in the engineering sector.

The Requirements:

• Current CCN1, MET1 and MOCOPA qualifications
• Experience as a dual fuel fitter
• Understanding of health and safety regulations
• A focus on working in the safest manner possible
• An enthusiasm for the job, and a desire to learn and progress
• Excellent customer service skills

For the right fitter the company are offering a GBP30,000 basic salary, a GBP5000 retention bonus - paid after the first 12 months and annually thereafter, other monthly bonuses adding up to yearly earnings circa. GBP40,000. You will also receive a company van, PPE, phone and 31 days holiday.
