Overview of the Role
The Training Consultant is a skilled expert who will facilitate the training curriculum in a dynamic, interactive way to the Guest Services team (Guides). The Training Consultant will foster and demonstrate superior knowledge and expertise of an innovative new program designed to assist clients with transportation challenges. This unique program will provide the ability to connect with clients through a social media application (via phone, video chat, or online chat).
The Training Consultant will engage and captivate the Guides while delivering the content and ensuring the Guides are effectively prepared and can demonstrate an excellent client interaction and experience
Main Job Responsibilities
- Design and execute New Employee Orientation, Quality Assurance, and Guide Leader presentations
- Remain a subject matter expert on the program by assisting the Guides with the client experience as necessary.
- Assist the content development team by noting revision requests appropriately for updates as the program evolves.
- Partner with Guide Leader to assist trainees with the transition from classroom training to direct client interaction, live environment.
- Recommend, evaluate and administer alternative training methods and provide feedback to the content developer.
?? Delivers training activities using a variety of training methodologies to suit the event and client requirements
- Consults with business areas to ensure that training objectives meet agreed requirements of the business
- Works with the operational teams to update and review materials for ongoing operational projects
- Evaluates training to identify added value to the business and make further recommendations to enhance business performance
- Produces effective written and statistical reports for internal Client use
- Is an Ambassador for training and encourages people to develop
Skills Required
- Demonstrate exceptional facilitation skills and the ability to truly engage and excite all levels of audiences.
- Strong communications (both written and oral).
- Ideally with good conversational German and/or French
- Lives the program's values and demonstrates these when dealing with clients and internal colleagues.
- Strong client service, interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to provide SME experience to fellow colleagues.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Ability to identify changes specific to program, disseminate information as needed, and create tools in support of new information.
- Active listening skills.
- Strong leadership skills.
Proven ability to perform in a fast-paced environment and with minimal supervision.
- Able to work a flexible schedule to include extended evening and weekend hours as needed on an adhoc basis.
- Knowledgeable with the use of technology, software, and social media applications (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest,) while continuously keeping up with current technology trends.
Education
- HND or equivalent qualification along with practical position related experience.
- CIPD Training qualification
- Qualification or experience ideally in Communications, Public Relations,
- Marketing, Hospitality or another related field of study preferred
