Are you a qualified Chef De Partie looking for your next opportunity? This beautiful Gold Club and Resort are looking for a new Chef De Partie to join their friendly team!
Key Responsibilities of Chef De Partie
Take responsibility for the Bar/Brasserie section, including service, presentation, menu creation, specials, standards and gross profit margins;
Take full responsibility and accountability for the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef and Sous Chef;
Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in delivering banqueting prep and service;
Assist in accepting deliveries and ensuring the standard of produce is in line with BP standards;
Ensuring presentation of food is compliant with our standards;
Ensure compliance with all Food Hygiene regulations;
To ensure that all areas are left as clean and tidy as is reasonably practical at all times;
Keeping up the standards of all food areas with regard to hygiene and cleanliness;
To carry out the prep needed, to the standards laid out and assist in the smooth running of the kitchen service;
To attend meetings and training courses as may be necessary from time to time;
To report and take necessary action for any incident of fire, accidents, theft, loss, damage, unfit food or any other irregularities;
To adhere to all statutory requirements regarding fire, health, safety and hygiene;
To participate in cross/multi skilled training within your department or other departments as deemed appropriate by your Manager;
To carry out any reasonable instruction as directed by your Manager.
The ideal candidate will:
Have previous experience working in a similar role, ideally qualified to City & Guilds 706-1/2 or equivalent of;
Demonstrate a degree of flair and creativity;
Take ownership of their direct area of responsibility;
Demonstrate excellent communication and influencing skills;
Be able to work effectively as part of a team and on their own initiative;
Identify ways to improve profitability;
Continually strive to achieve personal goals and objectives;
Be uncompromising in achieving company standards;
Build effective and constructive relationships
