RELIEF SOUS CHEF ** COUNTRY INN & HOTEL ** 20 EN-SUITE BEDROOMS ** OXFORDSHIRE ** PAID BY THE HOUR ** STARTING ASAP ** 2 DAYS PER WEEK ** ONGOING ASSIGNMENT **
We are looking for an experienced Sous Chef to join the dynamic kitchen of a charming country inn and hotel situated on the edge of the Cotswolds.
Recently taken over by new management, our client is ideally positioned to attract a wide variety of guests: sightseers and tourists are a short distance from Oxford and Blenheim Palace; shoppers will be in heaven in Bicester's Shopping Outlet Village and gearheads will surely accelerate to nearby Silverstone.
There are 20 en-suite bedrooms on site, including 3 suites. The bar and restaurant are open throughout the year and their menu changes with the seasons.
As a Relief Sous Chef, you will be overlooking the kitchen ensuring all prep work is carried out and service runs smoothly, assisting with all aspects such as stock control, purchasing as well as other duties as discussed with the Head Chef. Whilst in the kitchen you will be required to ensure high quality standards are maintained throughout all aspects of the role. Responsible for overlooking the kitchen ensuring all prep work is carried out and service runs smoothly.
This temporary relief Sous Chef assignment is to start immediately and will be on an on-going basis. The Sous Chef will be required to work 2 days per week, with the exact days being negotiable. Our client is happy to work around the Sous Chef's availability.
No live-in accommodation can be provided on this occasion
