Finance Assistant

Ashley Kate HR & Finance are proud to work on behalf of our Industry leading client, who are seeking a Finance Assistant to join their team to support their finance function in Gloucester.

Salary for this role is between GBP20,000 - GBP25,000 depending on experience.

You will be a well organised individual with a keen eye for detail, being well skilled with IT in particular Microsoft Excel. The role will involve inputting large volumes of data accurately. You will be a strong communicator, as this role will involve lasing with colleagues and other departments.

Key responsibilities include -

• Inventory accounting/reconciliation
• Providing support to the finance team and other business departments
• Maintain the fixed asset register
• VAT reporting
• Month end routine reporting and analysis
• General administration duties
• Support the Financial Controller with ad - hoc projects/tasks

Previous experience is highly desirable.
