HOME BASED ROLE!!! Ambitious Assistant Facilities Manager needed for a meaty role supporting the Facilities Manager looking after the FM and environmental services of a mixed commercial portfolio in Berkshire - a full driving licence & car is needed for this role. You will have experience managing and co-ordinating and managing soft service including security and cleaning as well as hard FM. IOSH or NEBOSH would be of benefit.
As Assistant FM the role will involve:
* Home based, you will assist the Facilities Manager with the day to day running of a commercial portfolio in the Berkshire area.
* Assisting in preparing, monitoring & managing service charge budgets
* Delivering first class customer service to the tenants
* Coordinate all aspects of total FM and act as first point of contact for tenants
* Ensuring effective and consistent delivery of all on site environmental activity including measurement and reporting on utilities and waste
* Monitoring the performance of the following outsourced providers: security, cleaning, maintenance, lifts and building surveying/project management
* Project Management
* Provide on-site coordination of the management of insurance inspections
* Establish ways of operating more efficiently whilst maintaining and enhancing services
* Manage Health and Safety
* Preparing management reports
* Proactively engage with external agencies and suppliers
* Own the emergency and contingency plans and ensure they are communicated to all teams
* ISOH or NEBOSH
