HR Administrator, Hitchin
6 month contract, possibly longer
GBP18,000 - GBP24,000 pro rata
The purpose of this role is to ensure the smooth communication and prompt resolution of all queries and to support the daily HR activities within the department.
Assist with the day to day operations of the HR Department.
Provide administrative support to the team.
Compile and update employee records in hard copy and soft copy
Coordinate communication with new candidates, schedule interviews and ensure company attendees have the relevant documentation for the interview meeting.
Resource and collate screening documentation and internal documentation for new starters.
Deal with employee requests regarding issues, policies and regulations.
Ensure any relevant information is added to the payroll update sheet each month in line with deadlines
CIPD qualified or working towards qualification
Previous experience in a HR Assistant role or relative HR/Admin role
Office 365 literacy desirable
Experience of working with a HRIS system
Knowledge of employment law
Strong communication skills
Excellent organisational skills
