Our client is a leading freight forwarder that are looking to recruit a Freight Forwarder to join their busy team in Southampton and if you have a passion for logistics then this could be the role for you.

The Role:

As Freight Coordinator you will be responsible for handling the full door to door forwarding process. Specialising in supply chain solutions for large, medium & SME sized companies, a variety of commodities and volumes, but all treated as important as each other. You will be dealing with shipping lines, booking cargo, completing customs clearances and arranging delivery.

• Imports & Exports
• Sea freight / air freight / road freight
• Dealing with shipping lines, making bookings and arranging deliveries
• Custom clearances

Essential Criteria:

• Multi modal freight forwarding background
• Custom clearance experience
• Communication skills

Salary & Benefits:

Our client is looking to pay around GBP22-25k depending on experience. There are a list of excellent benefits as part of the package.
