Housekeeper

Manpower is looking for a Housekeeper to join one of our most valued clients, an NHS trust in Cardiff & the Vale. The trust is looking for hard-working and reliable individuals to join their team. As a housekeeper within the NHS your main responsibilities will include:

* Helping to ensure the food service is completd efficiently and on time * Food preparation, cooking and serving of food and beverage items for/to patients within the agreed time frames * Ensuring a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness is maintained at all times as per cleaning schedules with the appropriate use of cleaning equipment and chemicals general housekeeping/cleaning duties

*Report any damaged equipment and any maintenance issues

In order to be successful in the above position you must be a friendly, reliable, self- motivated, individual. You will need to have previous food service experience within a workplace. A basic food hygiene certificate would be desirable however we can provide an online course for you to complete. Knowledge of COSHH, Health and Safety is desirable.Uniform is provided and free parking is available on site. Your own transport is essential for this role as you may be required to travel between sites and all travel expenses will be paid. Full training provided and as a Manpower employee you will get weekly pay, paid holidays.This role is offering GBP7.83 per hour rising to GBP7.90 after 12 week period. Housekeeper post would be 25 hours, on a three week rota to include 2 out of 3 weekends, 5, 5 hour shifts.There are enhanced rates for Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays.
