The company:
My client is a leading Manufacturer and Distributor of Mechanical and Electrical Power-Transmission Products, responsible for supplying into multiple industry sectors.

The Role:
This is an exciting role for an Area Sales Manager to cover the North-West of the UK. The role will be home-based and offers complete autonomy for a hungry and ambitious sales professional to grow the business.

Responsibilities will include:

- To ensure effective territory management.
- Solution sell into OEM's in a number of different industries.
- To review all existing and potential customers within the territory, identify target customers that offer potential for growth and to draw up and implement an activity plan that will translate potential into reality.
- To ensure monthly or quarterly review meetings are carried out with key customers in order to identify areas of opportunity.
- Engaging with new clients by actively sourcing new business, using initiative by reviewing the exisiting client base.

The Successful candidate:
You will have a proven track record of hitting KPI's and have the ability to develop new business. Enthusiastic and proactive in not only to maintain existing accounts and build new relationships but also to build an advocate of the business. They ability to prioritise and but most of all will have a 'can do' attitude as the role requires a positive and driven individual.

- Electrically or Mechanically Qualified

- Proven track record of business development

- Proven history in Technical Sales

- Experienced in working within multiple industy sectors.

- Solution selling
