Senior Quantity Surveyor - Bromley - Up to GBP75,000 + Car + Bonus
Are you BSc Surveying educated? (or equivalent)
Do you have at least 5 years "hands on" experience?
Can you manage both internal and external teams?

Our client started as a family run business and very quickly turned into a profitable organisation but have still kept their family culture. They provide projects for both the public and private sector and have an extensive knowledge of managing housing developments nationwide. They work very closely with their clients, which include London Boroughs and their key projects are medium to high rise RC frame apartment blocks of 30 to 100 units. The Role
You will be managing all the commercial and contractual issues on your projects and managing your team members and their tasks, while also mentoring them. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will also oversee the general administrative and contractual tasks.
Other duties you will undertake include:
•Preparing tender and contract documents
•Reviewing Client amendments
•Undertaking cost analysis for tender returns on the project.
•Assisting in establishing the client's requirements and undertaking feasibility studies.
•Performing risk and value management and cost control.
•Advising on procurement strategy
The Fit
To be successful for the role you must have a minimum of 5 years "hands on" post graduate experience and educated in BSc surveying or equivalent. You will be a team player with superb interpersonal, written and communication skills. You will have experience in writing specifications and completing all contract administration during a project and will have relevant management experience.
