Production Planner - Agriculture Division

We have an exciting opportunity for Production Planner to work within
our agriculture team based at our site in Brackley, Northamptonshire.

As a Production Planner within our Agricultural division, you assist
in the full planning of agricultural cycle. We are a fully integrated
business we control all elements of our supply chain, the beginnings
of which lie in our Agricultural operations; incorporating our farms,
feed mills and hatcheries. The success of our Agriculture operation
directly impacts upon the profitability of our business, which is why
efficient planning based on accurate data is key.

Main Responsibilities of a Production Planner:

* Liaising with Demand & Factory Planners to match raw material
supply with forecast demand.

* Preparing the agricultural intake plans taking account of both
agricultural & processing constraints

* Creating and amending daily, weekly and forward agricultural plans
based on actual and expected farm performances, order patterns and
factory operating efficiencies

* Liaising with logistics teams to optimise the time and cost
efficient live bird collection

* Liaising with Agricultural management to collate data related to
farm performance and ensure that all planning programmes are
updated accordingly

To be successful in the role of Production Planner you need:

It is not essential but would help to have some experience in a
planning role, with an understanding of supply chain principles and a
clear interest in the food industry. Forward thinking and
self-motivated, it is important that you are strong numerically and
analytically and comfortable working with data. Alongside planning,
you'll be analysing data to identify trends, drawing conclusions and
making recommendations. With a practical approach to problem-solving,
you will be commercially focused, and understand the impact of your
actions on the bottom line.

Self-motivated and able to work well under pressure, you will be an
effective communicator at all levels. Able to work well both as part
of a team and individually, you will have excellent organisational
skills and attention to detail.
