ABOUT THE ROLE
Working under the supervision of the Head of Tenders, the Bid Writer will assist in developing proposal structure and content for bids. The role requires working with other bid team members to produce articulate and compelling bid responses and presentation collateral in line with deadlines and reviewing and editing previously written content where necessary.

The role involves writing tailored content for use in bids, but also for presentations and all supporting marketing documentation, ensuring a cohesive and consistent approach.

YOUR DUTIES
??To support the Head of Tenders in coordinating and producing professionally written proposal content that clearly articulates our value proposition, win themes, features and benefits.
??To proactively develop and manage a network of internal and external subject experts to obtain specific case studies and examples to enhance each submission
??To identify and re-work existing pre-written content where relevant
??To re-write / edit proposal responses from a variety of stakeholders, typically involving contributions from sales, marketing, curriculum and operations teams, finance, etc.
??To support creation of presentation messages and materials
??To scan for, identify and capture suitable opportunities using a variety of platforms and through market intelligence
??To research clients, competition and the market
??To help improve internal processes to create a more effective tendering system

DESIRED SKILLS
?? A minimum of 2-3 years bid-writing experience, with a strong track record of success
??Knowledge of apprenticeships, training and the wider skills landscape
??Strong time management / prioritisation skills including delivering multiple projects on time
??Strong written English language skills including grammar and spelling
??Excellent attention to detail and proof reading skills
??Delivery of strong copy under pressure
??To write persuasively and creatively
??To explain complex issues in writing clearly and concisely to a variety of audiences
??Advanced MS Word skills and strong MS Office skills, including Excel and PowerPoint
??Flexibility and adaptability in meet deadlines working outside cores hours if required
