As an ApplicationSales Representative, you will assemble people from various departmentsto work toward a common goal in an efficient manner. This includesinfluencing customers and selling them the relevant product(s) for theirneeds. Your ability to influence the decision makers will be paramountto the customer selecting our product suite over the competition. You will take responsibility for driving increased revenues of ourModern SaaS Applications across a defined territory of accounts,enabling our customers to deliver the experience their customers expect. Ideal requirements for this position; Ability to show successful achievement of individual software salestargets. 4+ years IT industry experience with comprehensive software products exposure 4+ years in Technology sales, sales consulting and marketing Ability to articulate and credibly discuss industry issues, trends andbusiness solutions with customers / prospects Ability to accurately forecast, and successfully close new business. Business development, prospecting and presentation skills. Proven track record of exceeding sales objective and territory/accountdevelopment. Must be able to work with teams to help execute strategies, providebusiness solutions and be able to assist other sales representativestowards cross line of business revenue goals Ability to analyse, and document potential customers' requirements andposition Oracle application solutions to address such needs Competitive product knowledge Compatible interpersonal skills and multi-cultural sensitivity Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing, progressive organization Ability to work independently and a part of a team Ability to develop relationships with Partners, Account Managers andwith internal support staff. Detailed Description and Job Requirements:Sells a subset of product or services directly or via partners to alarge number of named accounts/non-named accounts/geographical territory(mainly Tier 3 accounts).Primary job duty is to sell business applications software/solutions andrelated services to prospective and existing customers. Manage salesthrough forecasting, account resource allocation, account strategy, andplanning. Develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of theapplication. Participate in the development, presentation and sales of avalue proposition. Negotiate pricing and contractual agreement to closethe sale. Identify and develop strategic alignment with key third party influencers.Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providingdirection and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex,involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in areaof specialization. 8 years applicable experience including 7 years ofsales experience. Successful sales track record. Ability to penetrateaccounts, meet with stakeholders within accounts. Oracle knowledgeand/or knowledge of Oracle*s competitors. Interaction with C levelplayers. Team player with strong interpersonal /communication skills.Excellent communication/negotiating/closing skills withprospects/customers. Travel may be needed.
