The Executive Chef of this hotel is seeking to recruit a Head Chef to work directly under them to oversee the various dining outlets at the property but also liaise with other senior managers in terms of the forward planning for the venue.Although this is a largely logistical role you will be expected to jump into a service in any of the dining operations when required to do so.The hotel is a seasonal venue with fluctuations in the type of custom with certain times of years popular with families and leisure guests and others popular with corporate guests although they do crossover.In this Head Chef role you will be expected to input the kitchen systems and create specifications for all outlets in order to offer the guests consistency and allow the kitchens to run smoothly when seasonal staff come in.The role will also have a strong financial aspect regarding the costs, forecasts and yields of the department. An organised Head Chef who is used to managing a multi-outlet operation with a background working in four or five star properties is required to take on this role.A strong financial acumen as well as a strategic approach to work is essential with a proven track record of achieving targets and implementing company specifications and operating procedures., In line with the requirements of the Asylum & Immigration Act 1996, all applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
