PERMANENT SALES BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - BEDFORDSHIRE - GBP28 -GBP36,000 + BONUS
• Want to work for a well-known hospitality/conferencing organisation with a great reputation?
• On top of a great basic do you revel in the opportunity to earn decent bonus?
• Company cars are not really a benefit anymore, so you will be using your own car but 45p per mile is payable so actually depending on your engine size you could make money out of travelling to those meetings within the Home Counties area.
• Would you like to show your prospective clients around facilities to be proud of?
• Free onsite parking
• Generally, Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm with the occasional time at a weekend, only if your contact wants to view the facilities
We have a great opportunity to work for a well-established organisation that needs someone who is full of personality but not too over the top when it comes to sales. This brand it pretty much sells itself, but your job is to get the prospective clients through the door to view the wonderful venue and surroundings.
You will already have done this type of role, so what I am about to tell you will come of no surprise, but the daily duties are likely to involve the following:-
• Develop and generate sales enquires with the ability to convert the business
• Follow up leads and going forward communicate with the prospective contacts that you have previously shown around
• Work closely with the team and achieve individual and company KPI's
• Maintain and review pipeline
• Complete quotes in a professional, timely manner
What we need from you:-
• Previous experience in a similar sales role within the hotel, conferencing or training/events arena is a must
• Your own car, as mentioned above you will be paid 45p per mile for business use
• Have a persuasive manner whilst remaining professional
