Our production engineer will:
- Have a passion for excellence, detail and consistency
- Be a self-starter, able to take initiative and put ideas into action.
The Production Engineer role involves:
- Design test and calibration equipment
- Maintain test equipment
- Fault finding production units
- Fault finding customer returns
- Lead New Product Introduction to production
- Carry out assembly for special / one off product variants
- Support products in production
- Ensure calibration procedures are maintained and followed
- Ensure electrical safety is carried out where required for products
- Assist with wiring harness design and fabrication
- Support development, testing, rework, modification and prototyping
Skills and Qualifications
- Educated to NVQ Level 4 / HNC or equivalent industrial experience
- Solid Electronics skills and understanding of wiring good practice
- Familiarity of Electronic CAD software
- Programming and scripting such as Python, Perl or similar
