++ Excellent opportunity for a candidate with senior level vehicle bodyshop / refurb / workshop experience to join an industry leader processing 20,000 vehicles per annum ++

The Operations Manager Opportunity:

Reporting to the Depot Manager the Operations Manager will be directly responsible for all Vehicle Arrivals, FPR Survey's, Storage, Maintenance, Inspections, Quality, Vehicle Movements, Workshop Operations and 3rd Party Supplier Control in the Depot.

The position will have 3 direct reports and directly responsibility for the management of circa 60 staff including temporary / agency staff.

Responsibilities:

Duties will include but not be limited to:

+ Responsible for liaison with customers at a Senior and Operational levels.
+ To ensue contractual obligations, including KPIs & SLAs are met or exceeded.
+ Manage KPI measurements, producing weekly snap-shots and monthly packs for customer presentations.
+ Manage, direct and lead the Operations Team
+ Promote and lead the Health, Safety and Welfare of all personnel.
+ Be responsible for the Quality, Technical Production, Storage & Handling of customer's vehicles in accordance with agreed processes and protocols.
+ Liaise with the Northern Director and his team as required.
+ Develop and drive our 'Customer First' approach to communication, building excellent relationships at all levels.
+ Assist in managing the Companies' suppliers.
+ Create, implement and monitor new procedures to ensure that customer expectations can not only be met but also exceeded.
+ Assist in the implementation of the Company Strategy.
+ Stand in for the Depot Manager in their absence as required.
+ Management of 3rd Party Suppliers including their H&S whilst on site.

About You:

+ Previous relevant industry experience (Fleet Solutions, Car Rentals, Dealerships, Vehicle Preparation)
+ An approachable leader that gets results
+ Ability to work in a target driven SLA / KPI environment
+ Excellent people skills (dealing with staff and customers
+ Ability to lead on the "shop floor" as well as taking care of associated back-off admin
+ Computer literate with the ability to produce reports including P&L

The role may require working flexibility depending on the demands of the business.

You may have worked in the following capacities:
Front Line Manager / Supervisor, Site Manager / Supervisor, Site Manager / Supervisor, Unit Manager / Supervisor, Bodyshop Manager, Bodyshop Supervisor, Lead Bodyshop Technician, Accident Repair Manager, Accident Repair Supervisor, Vehicle Preparation Centre Manager.
