PLANT AREA MANAGER
Our client is going through an exciting time of expansion and are now seeking a strong Plant Area Manager for their newly acquired site.
They are seeking a Plant Area Manager who can drive sales and maintain their very high retail standards, whilst at the same time provide a level of service that exceeds customer expectations. The company allows managers to be entrepreneurs and have a sense of ownership to their business which allows them to make sound retail decisions and act upon them.
The ideal Candidate will:
have experience of working in Garden Centres, ideally within a strong horticulturally focused business, you should be able to recognise sales trends in detail from our reports package and use this information to improve sales performance and the profitability of the department through replenishment and merchandising, be meticulous to the detail in terms of product placement, standards, presentation, visual elevation and overall look and feel have good numeracy, literacy and computer skills be organised, methodical and pay excellent attention to detail have a proven track record in managing and developing a team.
You should ideally be running a successful plant area
Able to manage and motivate a team
Understand seasonal trends
Have excellent horticultural knowledge
Have excellent merchandising ability and understand link sales.
Salaries to GBP28,000-
