The UPS and PCS Service Engineer Role
As our Service Engineer, you will apply installation & commissioning procedures on site and you will test according to customer requirements following the prescribed method statement.
Key Responsibilities of the UPS and PCS Service Engineer
- Customise settings of ATS, ESS and UPS installations according to the environment
- Customise settings of meters, ATS and ESS according to the customer requirements
- Update CIMSA and CIMeTECH databases
- Troubleshooting of all installed SOCOMEC equipment, diagnostic of installations
- Execute curative maintenance operations
- Diagnose installations
- Provide feed-back on recurrent problems to Technical Operational Support (TOS)
- Run training sessions
- Customer: Provide basic information on daily use of the systems
- Liaise with customers (grow a sustainable relationship)
Experience and skills required of our UPS and PCS Service Engineer
- Technical qualification in electrical engineering
- Good communication and commercial skills when in front of customers
- CIMSA and CIMeTEC databases
- Knowledge of electrical installation standards
- Knowledge of communication protocols (Modbus, Modbus over TCP, SNMP, Bacnet)
