35 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
We are looking for an experienced, dynamic and innovative professional to become our new IT Services Manager responsible for the management and overseeing of the ICT Support function of the Academy.
This is an opportunity to lead a team that is assessing what we have, what we do, why we do it and how we can improve the experience for all our users.
You will be an experienced, customer focussed, skilled and highly motivated candidate capable of managing and leading the ICT Support function. You will assist in the appointment of a Senior IT Technician and deliver systems and support ensuring that they are fit for purpose, secure, stable, scalable and support our aims as a school. Ideally you will have ITIL awareness.
The IT Services Manager will work closely with senior management and other stakeholders throughout the Federation and provide a vital role in improving outcomes for our pupils through the implementation of inspiring ICT Strategy. The candidate should;
- Be a suitably qualified IT professional
- Have experience gained in a similar role, preferably in an educational environment
- Have exceptional communication and line management skills
- Have the ability to build relationships
- Have Long term planning skills required to forecast future needs
