HR Manager - 6 months - perm - 40 hours per week - GBP34k-GBP36k

Your new company

Hays are working on behalf of a growing and successful organisation in the West Hull area who are looking to recruit a HR Manager with the confidence and skill to develop and improve HR processes. This is a full time role to start on a temporary basis with the potential to go permanent.

Your new role

The HR Manager will play a key role in establishing and maintaining a pro-active and effective HR function. You will provide sound employment advice and innovative HR best practice at all times. The role will be vital in the development and improvement of HR policies and procedures. Other responsibilities will include the implementation of a new appraisal system, recruitment, gap/improvement analysis and recommendations and support of directors.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be professional and proactive with previous experience of managing similar responsibilities. You will be a confident and clear communicator with excellent IT skills. You will be proficient with all Microsoft Office packages and ideally have previous experience of individual working. You will be confident in challenging others and being challenged.
