They’re now looking for a passionate Customer Service / Account Manager to join their dedicated team in Bath. 

The Rewards: 

- Salary of £22,000 - £25,000 
- Commission (OTE £30,000 - £35,000 Uncapped) 
- Central Bath offices

Your Role: 

As a Customer Service / Account Manager, you’ll join our client’s buzzing team and spend your time talking to prospective customers about the HR issues they face and how our client can help overcome them. 

You’ll be selling the company’s HR support and software service to the many small and medium sized employers around the UK that want to strengthen their business with legally-compliant employment contracts, bespoke policies and expert HR advice, as well as realise efficiencies in their day to day admin processes with easy to use HR software. 

This isn’t your standard sales role – our client is looking for a determined individual with the consultative manner and skills that would typically come from a dedicated account management or customer services background. 

In this largely telephone-based role, your success will depend on your ability to build rapport with decision-makers at these organisations. 

Responsibilities: 

- Discussing small businesses’ HR requirements and establishing whether our client is the best provider for their individual needs 
- Occasionally meeting with clients at their premises or exhibitions 
- Working with our client’s CRM system to record and schedule customer interactions 
- Making in-roads with personnel at all levels, from team leaders through to CEOs and owners 
- Problem solving and thinking on your feet 

About You: 

To be considered as a Customer Service / Account Manager, you will need: 

- Customer service experience either working for or with small businesses (preferably both) 
- Friendly, approachable and professional telephone manner 
- Customer service experience in the service sector 
- Strong written and verbal communication skills 
- The confidence to speak to senior decision makers over the phone 
- A proactive approach and the desire to learn 

While not essential, our client is especially interested in hearing from candidates who have had exposure to an HR environment.
