Investment Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for an Investment Manager to join a diverse and market-leading firm based in Birmingham City Centre.

As an Investment Manager, you will be developing a portfolio of clients and corporate relationships and offering relevant investment advice. On a day to day basis you will be conducting portfolio reviews to give insight into asset allocation and monitoring investment objectives on behalf of your clients. You will also prepare reports, presentations and proposals to submit to clients and intermediaries to ensure the investment strategy is adhered to.

Identifying possibilities for new business by working closely with internal departments of this busy firm will be crucial, as will conveying an in-depth knowledge of financial markets in order to best advise your clients. You will be working to strict deadlines in a fast paced, professional services environment and consistently completing work to a high standard. Managing the relationships with your clients and seeking new business opportunities will be central to your role, generating and following-up all business leads and promoting the firm in all you do. Working with a high level of discretion, you will be comfortable with adapting to changes in the working environment and keeping up to date with financial markets and trends.

You will ideally be educated to degree level, and hold the CISI Chartered Wealth Manager Qualification or CFA Institute Charterholder. Crucially, you will have a minimum of three years' experience of working within the financial services industry.
