Estates Services Grounds and Sports Team
Do you want to join a team of highly enthusiastic and skilful sports turf professionals delivering top class playing surfaces across winter and summer sports?
This part time (21.9 hours a week) post is available immediately on a permanent basis covering Saturdays and Sundays and an additional day in the week, preferentially Fridays.
The Grounds and Sports Team is responsible for the high standards of maintenance and development of the sports pitches used by University of Exeter students in the inter University Championships (BUCS), in-house competitions and external customers.
You must be able to work flexibly as part of a team and also use your own initiative. In addition you must be customer focused and be able to demonstrate evidence of good customer care.
Ideally you will have professional experience of general maintenance of sports facilities, cultural operations and skilled groundstaff practices including setting out sports pitches, the care of cricket grounds and synthetic pitches. Appropriate training will be provided.
The starting salary will be from £16,608 per annum pro rata on Grade B, depending on qualifications and experience.
