Office based in Exeter (covering South Hams and Torquay)

Our client is a leading holiday brand that’s part of a successful self-catering holiday group. They source stunning properties to provide customers with their dream holiday getaway. Now, they’re looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team, covering the South Hams and Torbay areas. 

As leaders in their sector, our client understands that their people are key to their success. As a member of their dedicated team, you’ll have access to extensive holiday discounts and familiarisation stays at their client’s holiday homes, so you can make the most of your time off. 

As a Business Development Manager, you’ll visit property owners and promote the benefits of letting out their property as a holiday home with our client. 

Travelling throughout your territory, you’ll build strong relationships with owners, highlight the advantages of joining our client’s property portfolio, and ensure a smooth on-boarding process is delivered. 

Specifically, you will: 

- Meet prospective owners and pitch confidently to secure new business 
- Negotiate commission rates with owners on a bespoke basis 
- Generate projections on tariff and income for owners 
- Act as an ambassador for quality 
- Provide advice and guidance on the preparation of new properties added to the portfolio 
- Establish and maintain a strong network of industry referrers 

Interested? To be considered, you’ll need field sales experience, ideally gained within the travel or property sector. Excellent relationship-building abilities are also key. 

Approachable and persuasive, as a Business Development Manager, you’ll have great communication skills. You’ll also be highly-organised, self-motivated and able to effectively prioritise your workload.
